SKEW SISKIN Joined By PRIMAL FEAR Drummer

April 13, 2005

Germany's SKEW SISKIN have announced the addition of PRIMAL FEAR drummer Randy Black and bassist Henning Menke to the group's ranks.

"Randy Black has committed to doing our upcoming summer shows," SKEW SISKIN write on their web site. "With time and circumstances permitting this line-up would likely include Randy beyond the summer."

"For the Le Mans show on 16th April, Andy Schumacher will step up the plate and fill in for Randy Black! Randy, having prior commitments for that day, recommended Andy who's a long-time buddy of his. Berlin-based Andy Schumacher has played in various bands, the current one being TOXIC LIES.

"Henning Menke, who's also playing bass for a band called OJO ROJO in Berlin, was our number-one choice from the SKEW SISKIN top-five list of bassists. It's more than cool to have him in the band! We'd already met around several years ago when he was recording with JINGO DE LUNCH, who reached a high following all over Europe. It was Henning who introduced us to Randy, who also plays drums for PRIMAL FEAR and DUSKMACHINE. Randy has been living in Berlin for a few years now, but we'd never met before. When we all got together for our first jamming session in the studio, things were clear: this line-up takes our music to another level.

"SKEW SISKIN would like to thank various people who helped in finding and contacting musicians for us: Steve the Machine (TERRORGRUPPE),Udo Lindenberg & Bertram Engel & Steffi Stephan, Basti (KNORKATOR),and very special thanks to PRIMAL FEAR for sharing Randy with us.

"At the moment, SKEW SISKIN are writing new material as well as rehearsing for live shows."
